The Crystal Speaks

There's wisdom in insanity,
Virtue in perpetuity,
Eyes are tired of scrutiny,
Wasted in nervous futility,

Borne through life's humility,
Suffering idle curiosity,
Reflecting one's sensibility,
Gazing into true mortality,

Line creased brow of senility,
Never knowing compatibility,
Striving for sensuality,
Finding only cold formality,

Locked into your own destiny,
Searching for confidentiality,
Blinded by absurdity,
Tested by our subtlety,

Falling through continuity,
Surfacing into tranquillity,
Fumbling and losing dexterity,
Changes changing constantly,

But listen to the crystal,
The crystal speaks,
Singing songs of simplicity,
Answering calls of totality.
