Subject: I agree. Pandey and Dwivedi are North Indian (UP/Bihar) Brahmin surnames. Chopra is a Punjabi Khatri surname, while Karnik is Marathi. I guess only Zara Shah is a proper 'South Indian' persay and Tulip a proper 'East Indian' persay. It shows India is a highly migrant society these days, but I also thought the pageants were supposed to promote women from cultural backgrounds often not represented in FMI.
