Subject: Working My Horses

Me and my husband Kevin Reese trailered my 15 horses to the racetrack for their morning workouts. I took them all out of the trailer and put them in empty stalls. First for a workout was Celtic Diver. I tacked him up and warmed him up on the track then I lead him into the gate. Kevin closed the gate behind me. Celtic reared up in the gate but came back down when I gave him a tap with my crop. BRRRNNGGG!!! the bell rang and Celtic shot out of the gate. Thank You Susan for working on the gate with him. He was going along easily at a ground eating gallop. Then I gave him a smart smack with the crop. He sped up as we flew along the track. We went along like that for 6 furlongs. When I pulled him up Kevin yelled at me "Black Letter workout". I shouted "Yes". That was enough to spook Celtic. He took off at a gallop and left me in dirt. Then he turned around and trotted back to me. I took his reins and led him back to the barn. Next I took Out Magical Wonder. I warmed her up and took her on the grass track. I sprinted her for 4 furlongs then put her in an easy canter to build up her stamina. After I took her to the barn and cooled her out and put her in her stall. G2G!!!
I will type more when I get home.
