* Saddle sighs and trailers her chestnut thoroughbred filly to the track. she had been leased out and put out to pasture for two months and Saddle finally had her in good enough shape to go back to the track. the filly unloaded from the trailer and whinnied anxiously as she inspected her surroundings. "You've been here before, girl" Saddle soothes the nervous filly with her voice and lays a calming hand on the spirited horse's neck. then she leads the filly to a temporary stall and tacks her up and leads her to the track. she quickly mounts and warms the filly up at a walk and trot along the outside rail. then she moves into the middle and does a slow gallop with the spirited filly. Fantasy yanks on the reins and skitters sideways, trying to get to the inside rail to run. Saddle steadies her, then slows her to a trot, then a walk and cools her out. then she dismounts at the gate and leads her off the track. then she hoses the filly, scrapes the extra water off of her and puts shipping bandages on her delicate chestnut legs. then she loads the filly and trailers her back to BRS *
