Here on the Northernmost Eastern Shore, the colours are finally 'full' -- the sweet gum turns bronze, the swamp maples have gone red, and where the sugar maple can be found, the glorious gold and orange. I spent the day at Dawn and Greg's Poplar Hall, raking up black walnuts -- I filled a large plastic garbage can with them, and brought them here to the Elk River Ranch. My hope is that my outside grey squirrels will plant some throughout the woods, here. Now, I'm giving thought to calling Bella the beagle in, and going over to the Y for a nice soak in their hot tub ...

Cathy, I fully sympathise with your decision to reclaim your room! Mine, I can't do, until such time as I've the balcony aviary built -- not likely to happen before spring, at best ... sigh.

Well, take some photos, everyone! I'll try to get a photo here (although it began to drizzle, late this afternoon -- and the rains will take down the leaves rather fast, I'm sorry to say.) Bye for now!

>>Once again a nice sunny day here :-). It's been a

>>How is Agnes' new babies? Have you gotten them under

>>Okay I'm off to my Sunday activities. Hope you all
>>are enjoying the fall season and your little ones.
