I'm not all that good with trees, to be honest. I know the 'major players', but not many of the 'understory' trees and shrubs. Still, it's not because I've never been told 'what's what', it just I don't have a retentive brain ... sigh.

Here's a photo of two of my three Chestnuts -- 'Quogue', and my mare, 'More Frills':

As one can see, what this area lacks is the brilliant oranges of a sugar maple ... sigh. The Sweet Gum is the main player, in my woods -- it gets some yellow, and a bronze red, but no bright orange.

Cathy, I've never had a photo phone, so really have no idea, at all, how to transfer the photos to a pc ... hope someone else can help you with that techie stuff!

>I envy your knowledge Beverly! I wish I was good at

>can enlarge the pic a little bit to make it easily

>>Cathy, I fully sympathise with your decision to

>>Well, take some photos, everyone! I'll try to get a

>>rather fast, I'm sorry to say.) Bye for now!
