Well, when inside the aviary he has his own cage; but most of the time he wants to be in the inside room, where he also has his own cage. He loves to curl up in his "blankies" and snooze away! Once he is sound asleep, I close the cage door; when he wakes up he knows just how to open it! Cathy, we don't find them to be mean at all and we have been sharing space with grays for about 18 years now. Now, yes, they can put a bite on you, but here it is poor DH that gets it; it is a rare occurence for any of them to bite me--nibble, yes, but bite, no! Zoe Warrior Princess is our only "true" biter and she is our oldest flyer. Like the flyers, the grays respond to scents and smells, so we just watch out which soaps or lotions we use. No pics on the web, though I do have some stored on my computer. I'll try to get one out and on for you, Cathy!
