Subject: I'd love to post HunBun's photos, but you need to ...
In reply to: S. K. Dixon 's message, "Thanks, Bev, I will do that! I'm just lazy about those things!" on 09:28:04 11/18/07 Sun

Send them as .jpg files (iow, one at a time ...), because I cannot copy them from your essay. And, I'd love to post the essay with them, if you agree!

Hun Bun, like my Ahab, was such a special bunny! I still miss hearing Ahab move across the house, while I was down in the basement ... 'thump, thump, thump, thump, thump .... thump, thump, thump, thump, thump....', I'd hear him go from the living room to the hall to the den, and back. Ahab never showed any interest in being outside -- never lingered at the screen of the sliding glass patio doors, either back on LI (where the house was 'at ground level') or here, where the house is set up on a deck. Squirrels would come to the screen -- and now and then, I swear Ahab would tease my cats, who would stare in at him ... but he never put his paws up on the screen, as you describe Hun Bun doing with the wire around the aviary. So, with me he stayed, for nine springs, before goind across 'the Rainbow Bridge'. They are lovely little creatures, eastern cottontails. I hope his life was as rich as he made mine!
