>Maybe I was using too much Repti-Cal....how much should she have?I didnt know they needed salt....there are several websites concerning the care of FS,and some of them contradict each other,so I dont know what to do!But the people on this board seem, to me at least, pretty knowledgeable,so I will take your advice....I had heard that they should NOT eat salt........When I go into a pet store,I am hesitant to say what I am looking for, because FS are verboten here...
I understand that they are legal in NJ and since I have relatives down there,I was considering visiting a pet store that I had heard about in Brick,NJ in the spring....I would like to get another flyer....maybe a male so we can have babies.......But I wouldnt do that untill and unless I am comfortable knowing that I know what I am doing or know someone who does.........a neighbor of mine is apprenticing with a licensed Wildlife rehabber and I asked if she could ask him if I could go too-I have already taken the classes, but it has been a few years...........I just want to know all I can cause I would really hate myself if I did something stupid that caused the death or injury to ANY animal........
Oh! Do you know if FS have the same dietary needs as Sugar Gliders....I think they inhabit different parts of the world,so I would think their diets would be very different...and SG are marsupials and FS are rodents.....What do you think?
