Sara, I'm so glad to hear that Chris and Tamara will be the new adoptive parents to Bobbles, and that Bobbles will have a girl of his own. Hope C&T will keep us posted, when they've the time, to let us know how the intro went, and how the lucky couple are getting on.

Cathy, things here are as always. Feels like Spring is finally here - considered cleaning up the horses for a ride, tomorrow - but they's so darn muddy that I just might hack a horse, instead of taking my own!

I uploaded some Flora and Fauna articles:
Collecting Clay at the Elk River Ranch Creek

Tiger, Tiger ....

Caught a little white footed mouse in my KITCHEN SINK a few weeks back. Kept him for three days, providing him with some sunflower seeds, some walnuts, a small dish of water, and a nestbox, in the main floor bathtub (he could not jump out), until the weatherman promised nights in the mid to high 30's. Then took him to an area near the farm shed that has plenty of brush and leaves, for safety. Let him go. Next morning, I kid you not, I woke and found A LITTLE WHITE FOOTED MOUSE in the bathtub (which I'd not yet cleared of the seeds/water/nuts/nest box - I use the second floor bath, mostly ...)!!! I'm not sure it was the same mouse - but this time, I took some photos:
Little White Footed Mouse

Do you think it possible this mouse would not just make his way back into my house, but also remember that he'd not finished up all the food I'd provided??? Pretty funny, IMHO.
