(HRH = Her Royal Highness ... evidently, you're not an ....) Anglophile, Cathy! lol!

Dare is very handsome. I'm a 'dyed in the wool' TB fan, but must admit the gait of a foxtrotter is an interesting, and comfortable, thing to ride! Thanks much for sharing the photos, and post more!!!

Well, back to the kitchen, for me. I'm making braised short ribs -- but, I didn't have any burgundy. I used the remains of a bottle of chardonnay -- after all, wine is wine, no? lol! Snow has started, here, and it sure looks pretty! I did get to the stupidmarket and the gas station -- so, I've got half-'n-half for my coffee, and shouldn't need much else! Have to go out and bed the stalls. Then, I'll put some suet out fot the birds, and scatter some cracked corn (unhappily, the TSC didn't have any whole corn, today).

Hey, Cathy, I know I should already know this, but where are you located, that you can get hay for $1.50 a bale??? My horses do get a hefty amount of a pelleted food, so giving them about 10# of hay a day, each, is pretty much all they need. I only give them their hay in their stalls, because at $6 a bale, I cannot afford to have them waste it, pulling it all around the paddock, trodding over it, etc.
