Photos of Moose (Rocky the Flying Squirre's loyal sidekick!)

Here are some photos from the campgrounds where Nancy and her DH Reg vacation (and fish! freshly caught brook trout for breakfast -- mmmmm, mmmmm, good!) : The first is a moose who came into the camp, directly at the end of our trailer, and browsed on the owner's garden,

then went into the water in front of our trailer, (see the end of our trailer on the left in one photo),

and then crossed the dam, and disappeared.

The roadway across the dam is where people from Baxter State Park walk to get into the campground for buying ice, etc. It is no longer open to vehicle traffic to or from the Park, since the campground is privately owned and the state of Maine decided access to the Park should be kept through their "gates" only. The moose was there for about 15 to 20 minutes all together so many campers got photos.
