(This is 'molt' season, Katie ... in some flyers, it's more ....) noticeable than in others. As long as the skin is okay, I'd just watch for a bit, and see if new hair starts replacing the missing hair.

Another common cause for hair loss is frequent contact with the same 'spot', often caused by following a particular 'path' during exercise. You can help improve this by changing a flyer's habitat now and then -- add branches, move existing furnishings around, so the flyer has to vary its exercise path.

Keep us posted. If you can, upload a photo, showing the area you're worring about.
