(Don't worry, they'll eventually produce pups .... right now, ...) they're still just getting to know each other. If you give them plenty of space, and plenty of different nest box possibilities, they will have pups.

Often, the first 'announcement' of births does come as an aggressive defense of a nest box, by the momma. But sometimes, just noticing the momma's teats having been 'in use' clued me in to the fact that she had pups in the nestbox.

Do remember to get some wax worms, for the girls, when they start producing. I feel certain that the added protein and fat is good for their milk.
