Missing a leg to stand on? -- Flying Squirrel Fancier

Subject: Missing a leg to stand on?

Hi, seems one (of two) of my babies is missing a leg :/

I looked around the nesting area and didn't find it. :)

Has anyone had this problem before and does it cause the early death of the squirrel? I am afraid it will hurt it's stump by crawling around. I really can't do much about it and glueing on a squirrel size peg leg is probaby out of the question. :(
