My concern is it putting weight on the stub and getting cuts (due to not having the natural foot pads) or worse is the possible internal injury of a blood vessel getting pinched or cut. I can probably guess that it might be painful to walk around as it would be a pressure point with not having natural structure or padding. I just weaned the two (kittens?) and will now be working with them. I just feel awkward as I haven't had to deal with a pet in this condition that wasn't already on it's way out. Should I do anything special for it or do you think that there isn't a concern for internal injury or further damage? :/
