Subject: Condolences on the loss of your human friend, Connie ...

(Condolences on the loss of your human friend, Connie ...)

I felt from the first moment that I held Molly Kule that she was a gift from the Great Spirit, to help me over the loss of my late husband. She could always make me smile, just with the tilt of her head. And there's nothing so endearing as having a flyer climb up to your shoulder, then neck, and put its 'hands' on your cheek, whilst gazing into your eyes. 'Wee bits of wonderment', that's what they are, to me! And such a sense of joy, to run and play all day, not a care in the world.

Thanks for sharing Rain with us, Connie, and Cathy, I love to read your stories about your Princess Pooster! My own crew don't seem to have as many 'antics' to report, probably as they have each other for that sort of interaction, so they don't go into 'attack' mode, and I almost never get to even watch a 'war dance' anymore. The only time I get a finger even pinched is if I do a headcount, and insist upon actually waking everyone. Now and then, someone will flinch, and bite my finger (not hard enough to puncture, just a pinch to warn ...). But otherwise, I don't get the attacks from them that some get, with an 'only child' flyer. Of course, I don't have the same sort of closeness to this crew, as I had to Molly Kule, who was an 'only' flyer, when she was with me. So, I would say that given my druthers, I'd go for the 'only' flyer, and the closer relationship. I think. ;~} Might be inclined to change my mind, at first blood! lol!
