Now I beleive Chip is 9 months
old. Tonight, I got a decent look at his, shall we
say, butt. I almost fell over. I thought he had a
tumor. He is much , much , bigger than Bobby who is 2
years old. I'd swear it appeared over night.. He wont
let me hold him. he runs up and down my body and in
out my shirt, but he will not tolerate being
held. So, tomorrow when he is asleep I hope to catch
him and do some investagating.. That of course if I
can find him before the whole averay has been alarmed.
He sleeps with a different female in his harem almost
every night. lol

(It is not uncommon for one male in a group setting to ...) be dominant, and to develop seasonally while other males in the group remain somewhat abdominal. Usually, it's the oldest male -- but evidently, with Chuck as poppa, his sons might be, shall we say, particularly fertile? Anyway, it's been my experience that although all the boys show some increase in size during the normal range of breeding months, it's Mike Robe who develops the 'mostest'.

Don't make too much of it in front of Bobby ..you don't want to give him an inferiority complex ....
