I have never heard of "Therapeutic riding programs" I don't think they have those in NH If there was a place I could go and care for a horse or horse and even get to ride them. I'd be there. They have a few riding stables around here. You get sit on a horse, you don't even need to hold the reins but it does look better if you do, he follows a trail that he may do 50 times a day and dumps you off back at the stables and it cost a small fortune for 1 hour. Thats to me is a tease.. I want to spend an afternoon riding a couple times a week. And not some boring trail.
