Subject: Sorry...... From Southern California

Hi Everyone,

It has been a long time since I have been online.

I need help...

I love my flyer, Mali.

I got him from Helen's Little Critters. Vanette is the best over there.

My friend is about 1.5 years old.

I got him with my ex when we lived together. She recently (2 months ago) left me for another guy (I am doing much better, I found a site like this that is 100000% supportive and has helped me so much). I work about 12 hours a day. When I get home, I find it impossible to stay awake.

My friend lives in a big cage. My ex and I used to take him out everyday. But now since I am on my own, I haven't been able to. The reason why is that my friend likes to play so much that he does not like to go back into his cage willingly until he is ready. And since I have to get up early (5 am), I usually spend 2 hours trying to catch him. He doesn't run from me, it is a game to him. He will jump on me, but as soon as I get near the cage he jumps back off or jumps onto the cage rather than in it. I swear he laughs. He eventually lets me put him back. But I sadly do not have the patience anymore. I am getting my life back on track but I do not want this kid to live the life that he is. He needs more attention.

I live in Southern California. I have a vet lined up who said they would treat him if he ever got hurt (I did this before I got him).

I love him very much, but his life sucks...

He is in great spirit in his cage, LOVES his wheel. Hours and hours on end. He likes to run on it and either lay down while it is spinning, or he launches him self while spinning. He always lands in the same spot and then jumps back on so I know he is playing. His wheel is not as quiet as it could be and since I live in a studio, I cant sleep either...

I am sorry to everyone on here for disappointing you. I always felt the same when I hear about someone who has to get rid of their animals. It seems like bad parents to me.

But I feel I have to due what is right and find him someone who has more time and their life on track...

If you know of any local people, please let me know. If I can't find local, I would consider shipping, but I would hate to do that to him.

Thank you,

Sorry again,

S.
