I feed mine 'shrooms from the wild. I was kinda nervous about it, but I found a small fold-out guide called "Mushrooms: An Introduction to Familiar North American Species" by James Kavanagh, published by Waterford Press for $5.95. I like it because it doesn't have every mushroom in it - just the more common ones. So you don't have a problem finding out which one you have found. And it also shows the ones that are poisionous. I figure that if it isn't in my little guide I'll just keep looking until I find one that is.
