thanks mom

It's the time of year for the best fresh fruits and vegetables to lavish on the Princess. I also recently got some mealworms which she hasn't had for awhile. She gets *so* excited at suppertime which is about 3am when I get home from work and she's right primed up for a meal. (never mind that she never eats everything she gets and always has someting to snack on). Last night I 'tricked' her and didn't shut her cage door when she went in to eat. She did her browsing of the smells on my fingers then she sniffed and poked around her 9 course meal in her dishes, grabbed a quick bite of baby portabella and then got her mealworm. Perching on top of her cage she looked at me with this worm hanging out of each side of her mouth and I said 'don't bring that over here Poot'. She chirped right at me and went into her cage to enjoy her mealworm. I think she was saying 'thanks mom'. What a sweet little girl she can be.
