I'm with Beverly the Vitamin D3 is a must. And I would never give give mine dog food, or cat food unless my vet told me it was ok. Reason being is, what might be good for one animal is not good for another. My son gave me a rabbit he was feeding cat food. He didn't live very long even after I switched him to only rabbit food and treats. I also was told that I could not give my rabbits any of my chinchilla food. That the chin food had a lot of vitamin C in it Which could actually kill my rabbit. My flers get veggies , fruit, yogurt and natural unsweeten apple sauce every night, I treat them 2 or 3 times a week with mealys worms. i keep unshelled nuts which is very important for their teeth. and a small dish mixtue of sheld nuts, pumkin seeds, sunflower seeds. oh and Scarlett has to have her avocado slice every night.. She actually goes thru the whole tray looking for it...
