Subject: Veil Update

Just wanted to bring everyone up-to-date on what's going on with the Veil...

My webhost decided about a month ago to switch servers, which threw the site for a loop; for awhile, I couldn't even get into the control panel, and it completely reset the email system (if anyone tried to email me and failed, I can now be reached at moirafey@hotmail.com)... Needless to say, I am not pleased with VisionHead (my host.) I have found a new host, and just need to get a few bills paid off before I move the site there. The new host I've found offers a really nice set-up, and the move will benefit the site immensely.

I had mentioned before that I was going to redesign the site at some point, and I figure that this is as good a time as any. I love the art and general feel that it currently has, so all I'm doing is altering the layout a bit; my main goal is to break up the images a bit, so that they don't take several minutes to load for modem users (like myself.)

One of the benefits of this move is that I will have a huge amount of space to use. My husband is writing a message board for me, which will be specifically built for the Veil (and there won't be any ads!!) since I now have the room in which to put one up. Also, I'm considering accepting ghost photo submissions.

Other than that, I have tons of space to work with...and don't know what to do with it all! Does anyone have suggestions for other additions I could make to the Veil?
