Haunted Greetings,

This October, I am hosting The Haunted History of Spirit Boards, an event for Festival of the Dead, an annual Halloween event series in Salem, Massachusetts, that explores death�s macabre customs, heretical histories, and strange rituals.

On October 19th, I will present a selection of my extensive collection of boards, exploring their history and mystery, and offering a glimpse into the many artistic styles of boards through the years. The event includes a multimedia presentation of Spirit boards in the news and in movies and my co-host, Salem Witch Christian Day, will tell haunted tales of those who used them. We finish with a question and answer period, and time for visitors to share their own experiences with Spirit Boards!

The Haunted History of Spirit Boards will feature a special appearance by Kathy�Fuld , granddaughter of William Fuld, father of the original Ouija Board that started it all! Ms. Fuld is bringing her old family book, featuring letters and clippings about Ouija boards dating back to the 1800�s. As heir to the legacy of the first family of Ouija, Kathy Fuld has a wealth of original source material, and has offered much of her personal collection to us to share with our guests, material never before shown to the public!

Door prizes include A vintage 1920�s William fuld talking Ouija board, 10 cryptique� Spirit Boards and 10 Spirit Light candles!
