Subject: I have a question

I have an acquaintance who, while me and my wife were visiting her house, told us that she had a scary supernatural experience. She was serious as can be when she told us this story and I have never forgotten it.

She claims that a woman who claimed to be a witch lived across the street from her and her family (she is married and has 4 young kids). The witch tried to befriend her, but she kept distance between them. When Halloween came around, the Witch tried to give her kids some weird items (witchcraft type items) and she politely declined which began to irritate the Witchlady. This Witchlady was living with a drugdealer. He eventually had the house raided by the police and he went to jail and she had to move away. Before she moved, my friend said she saw her out by her house performing and saying some things that seemed like witchcraft. She couldn't be sure but thought that the Witchlady was putting a spell or curse on her house......who knows.

The Witchlady moved away, never to be seen or heard from again.

What happened next is scary. For the sake of this story, will use the name Paula (not the real name) for my friend's name. Paula and her husband sleep in different rooms because he snores very loudly. Paula went to bed and fell asleep on her side, facing the side of the bed. She was awakened in the middle of the night when she felt somebody laying right behind her breathing on her neck. She had a bad feeling immediately. She said it was not a somebody, but a something. It put it's hand on her and starting (not to be sexually explicit), but for the sake of no better words, she said "fondling her" all over. She said she was scared to death to turn and look at it, but SHE KNEW that it wasn't human, but evil. She said that she loudly said, "get off of me", then wrestled her body out of it's grips, fell off the side of the bed and ran out of the room (still fairly dark) without turning back to see what it was (out of fear). She claims it happened another time, but didn't go that far because she escaped before anything happened. She now sleeps with the light on and had a spiritualist come to their house and do some sort of "exorcism" but she said it was a procedure specific to their problem.

She has had no other occurrences, but is still scared to this day to sleep with the light off.

I have never forgotten this story.....she told me and my wife in private......and she is a Churchgoing person.....I believe, Church of God or Pentecostal.

It still freaks me out 'til this day to talk about it. Just the thought of having some kind of evil nonhuman creature/spirit hanging around is spooky. Her story makes me think of Rosemary's Baby. Yikes!

My question is.......does anyone have a clue what happened or have any similar experiences to this? Any insight?
