After dispensing the after-birth and resting until daybreak,fem encouraged filla to awaken.Time to return to harem,it was,as she did not wish to alert any other than he who had seen her leave.She tread slowly through the underbrush and over the vegetation-laden loam,allowing the filly to stay with her as she attempted to control her limbs.

Youngster snorts cautiously as she follows her dam,staying close to her side.These long,hard-to-control limbs were not to the scraggly filla's liking,but she did her best and stayed at her mother's side.She was a tiny mirror-image of her dam,but she had the laid-back disposition of her sire.Nares flared,testing the air curiously.She could smell the others,but as her sight was still blurry and unfocused,she could not yet see them.As they neared,the towering frames of the others were frightening to the filly.In her short time of existence,she had only known her dam.Stopping,she cocked her small cranium,limbs squared and body rigid,but an encouraging whicker from her dam as she moved further away sent the little filly running after her,long limbs tangling and untangling themselves.Reaching her dam's side,she slowed back to a cautious walk,muzzle high in order to better take in the other's scents.The filla's first morn has brought her first social gathering.

Youngster looks about tentively,mahogany orbs settling 'pon that of Marionette.Snort was released as filla took a few waivering strides t'ward her,but stopping after she had gone about six steps from maternal's side.She watched the larger mare curiously,head cocked innocently to one side.Who was this?

Filla squealed and swung small hindquarters around,striking out and off only a few strides before turning back around,head cocked again.To fight was her first reaction,but now she relized the larger mare did not mean harm.Snort was released as small filly cautiously walked nearer,mug extended.

- wicken snorted once more gently. mug extended t' full extent, reaching filla's gingerly. she felt slightly foolish, a mere 14 hands compared to a filla now, who was more than half her height, and how would it look when those lanky legs took form? she snorted softly, shaking all this from crania. oculiow soften, though the raging battles were still seen within them.. -

Snort was emitted as youngster stepped ever nearer,mug soon brushing fem's shoulder.Playful nip was given and filla half-reared,weak trill released.Aye,she saw the fire in the older female's eyes,yet even so,no fear was shown.
