Naive she was. His words pricked her with annoyance, but she would not twist them and hoped that he, perhaps, didn't understand what he was speaking. She couldn't keep quiet her objections. "Lord Fierceness, I do not serve my time. My time serves me." Taunt muzzle quivered as cold winds threw unfamiliar scents at her. The whole world mocked her today. And if not for the cold, Amyrah believed her endurance would've lent more patience.
As it was, the breeze seeped right through her silken coat and out the other side, taking with it more and more of her forbearance. Now a reply to his statement was deserved. "A forest of warning is worth a thorn of experience, Milord, so when do we begin?"
