Ahh, the ocean! Always, she has loved it. Exploring for a safe beach, femora remembers something: The steeper the beach, the more the undertow. Searching, she comes 'pon a nearly-level place, and judging this t' be a good place to have a little fun, plunges in. Ferocity of waves catch her off guard, and she stumbles out, to catch her breath, before racing back in again, this time prepared. Now she withstands the force o' the seawater, and frolics in the waves, like a foal. And indeed, 'tis with the ease borne of foalhood practice that she braces herself against the breaking waves. At last, wet enough, femora goes back to the beach, flinging herself down 'pon th' sand and rolling vigorously to dry off. Getting up, femora races at the waves, chasing them when they roll out, and running away when they roll in. Ahh, such a wonder the ocean is!

The filly stops mud-stride and smiles and soon laughs softly at the antics of the mare. Never has she seen the ocean, and so regards it with cautious curiousity.
