Mare steps into new land. Gazes around. Satisfied smile appears on face. I think I shall like it here. Looks t'wards Aquarius for agreement.

"I agree. It is a nice place to be." He keeps to himself the simple fact that being so near to evil-held lands makes him nervous.

[> misfortunes -- Esaj, 00:14:27 04/22/02 Mon (64.12.101.163)

Fate of wild winters melting to wild springs (and wild onions) greatly uncomforted the hide of a certain stout equine. Boxy hooves thrown straight into the air as he twisted from one side to the other, wiggling his broad back and neck into the ground while offering deep-throated nickers of thanks as his itches were demolished. Changing gobs of red winter coat for globs of fresh spring mud, Esaj took no notice of the oddly shaped equines standing nearby.

Being a pony, some things came harder for him. He did have twice as much fur to get rid of, and rolling was a pleasure in life that he never missed out on. A round belly flopped him from side to side, until the insects got in his ears and nose. Struggling to stand (no one was watching?), Esaj trotted around in blind circles while tossing his head, wriggling his ears, and viciously snorting out the pests. Life was too complicated sometimes. God forbid there ever be a green pasture (with clover and mares) minus the heat and insects!

Silver mare trots 'tward pony. Hello, may I help you? I don't believe I've met you before. My name is Sharifa. And yours?

Esaj stops his fit and turns his head to survey the mare, rolls of fat wrinkling down his neck and barrel. Little fuzzy ears prick up, pointy little muzzle quivering. He swings the rest of his body around, standing to face her now, but saying nothing.

The furry ears snap back, wrinkling the muzzle in agression. He trots towards her, round barrel bouncing with each step.

Red pony snorts in sudden lack of interest. He trots away.
