Wow.. I just re-discovered this link on my favorite places. I didn't even know I still had it. Anyway, since I do, I thought I'd drop by.. Hello, Nate.
And to contribute to this board, I'll include some information about the sun. It may not be a poem, but hey, you can take that with a grain of salt, because if it was a poem, it might have been disgusting, like some of that Lenore kid's stuff. But it's not! Enjoy..
The sun is so hot that everything on it is a gas. Aluminum, copper, iron, and many others, in fact, are all in a gas-state while on the Sun Star. If the sun were hollow, millions of earths could fit inside, and yet, it is only a medium sized star. The sun is also far, away - About 93 million miles, and that's why it looks so small, but even when you can't see it, the sun is still shining, night and day. The earth needs it's heat and its light. Scientists have found that the sun is a huge atom-smashing machine, the heat and light from the sun are caused by a nuclear reaction between hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon, and helium.
