Still, the money from readings is peanuts (a few hundred pounds a year) compared to the amount of missing (over 10,000 pounds a year and more) that has gone missing from the Forsyth's deliberate policy of no longer renting out flats and installing a Warden who is hostile towards renters and believes she is entitled-- because she promotes 'love and peace' in her meditation practices and works tirelessly to honor and keep alive the memory of George Harrison alive--to being the primary resident.
You're missing the bigger picture, PTS has previously supported itself by renting out the flats as the major source of funds.
Now PTS has been on the hook for having to pay council tax for the flats is no longer rents out for the past few years! That amounts to a pretty penny, imagine £800 times 2 times the past few years, and not including the counciltax that PTS may also be paying for the Warden's flat--if she doesn't pay for herself--which would make it 3 times £800 or £2400 a year.
And a Warden who chases away paying tenants, backed by Forsyth who loves to bully others and enjoys seeing others like the Warden harass others. Forsyth thrives on sowing the seeds of conflict and blaming others and his Warden is his perfect representative as long as he needs her. however, current rumor is that he wants her out now, so closing PTS' doors will be easier for the quick sale of the property.
Sadly, PTS has become the house of bullies and confidence men who believe they are entitled to do as they please, when they want to, regardless of the objections stated by the PTS Constitution, the PTS members or visitors. Unfortunately, the PTS Committee is either too shellshocked to stand up to Forsyth or allow Sharon/Denise/MaryYvonne to rubberstamp whatever Forsyth wants. Those that do object, are often forced off the Committee or throw their hands up in despair (and frustation) and just give up like Eddie's recent departure--he had pushed to get the flats rented out.
I understand that there is a Annual General Meeting scheduled this week, unless it was secretly planned to take place without public notice, so everyone reading this, take note: The end of PTS could be voted on at this meeting if concerned members don't show up or are given the wrong meeting date/time or are turned away at the door.
Even if you're not a current member, or lapsed member, I believe this AGM is open to the public, so just go anyway and be a fly on the wall.
Forsyth will talk nonstop about anything and nothing for an hour or two, and then say "Isn't it a pity" there is no time answer questions, he'll push thru nominations for new PTS Committee members, and close the meeting as quickly as he can.
