Yes I've met Lee a few times and he's a very nice young man in person. I know he's standing up for his mum because he hasn't been around when Denise has treated other people the way she has treated you, and for that matter, myself. I was a volunteer for Denise and I was treated very badly by her.
But Lee was never around to see what his mum was doing to others. So of course he's always going to stick up for his mum, no matter what anyone else says, unless he sees what she's doing in person.
Lee if you're reading this, your mum treated myself with the cold silent treatment for 4 months when I lived next door to her at 44 parkfield road in 2010 from Aug to Nov. I had to say "hello" first otherwise she wouldn't say anything at all unless there was another person to watch. When I did say "hello", she would look down and frown when she said hello. It was really horrible and she's supposed to be the "Warden".
I can't tell what a nightmare living next to your mum was for 4 months, after having so generously given much time and even some gifts to her the year before. She didn't care at all about the friendship, she just doesn't want anyone at 44 Parkfield as a tenant and unless she can get messages about George from the other side such as from Sharon, she doesn't need any friends anyway unless she can't get something out them that is related to George.
There is no point in emailing you because you'll reject anything negative about your Mum. She's got some problems because of how she was brought up by her mother who didn't want her and who was jealous if her husband gave her any attention at all. I think George has been desparately trying from the other side to help her with her dark side and to be more loving and kind to others, but she's the first to admit she's got alot of anger and I'm sorry she's suffered so much.
Before you and your brothers get more wound up but her mother's many critics and former friends and volunteers, PLEASE keep in mind that winding up people is what your mother does best, because she is herself so incredibly angry and wants everyone else to be just as angry as herself. At least she has George in her life and she has you, Lee, to thank you for reconnecting her with George when you gave her the Beatles Anthology as a xmas gift one year.
