Joan I couldn't agree more in your direct and to the point comment, as Mr W says "very earthy words".
I do not wish to post my name nor reveal whether I am male or female, as I still serve a lot of the churches throughout Mersey-side, and it is my opinion on what I have noticed happen,if one is seen to be not in agreement with any of the people who run SNU churches, your bookings are without reasons dwindled down.
Like many Churches I attend, Widnes is no different, nice Church but they also have their little group of gossipers, I'm sure Carol & Ron will deny this, and I honestly do not blame them. Being in-charge of a SNU church the do have to watch their "Ps & Qs" especially with the Merseyside District council.
I am however 100% sure this comment will not be amongst the carefully selected ones to be copied and pasted on the web site "The truth about the psychic Truth" only the ones that are allowed who moan about the PTS are ever posted. Take the recent up-dated post by Elaine Roberts, does she know the actual truth behind all this?, do any of them know? who Kate has deemed necessary to take each of their comments they have posted on here and put it on her own web site possibly to use in her favour. What good is this web site? what has it actually achieved, so much effort has gone into building it, keeping it all up-dated, searching through comments on here to use, as Joan said, it is very easy to sit behind a screen, but what has been physically done to save the PTS.
I am not against the PTS nor for it, I have attended there for many years, attended many circles up stairs, and have sadly watched it slow decline.
Your efforts Kate is priceless especially with your web site in getting the truth out there, but if as much effort was put in to actually saving this lovely building maybe you wouldn't need your negative web site any longer. Your efforts to get the truth told is only 80% isn't it? so maybe I should enlighten people for you.
I have known the Matier's for a very long time, and I have always found them pleasant, and like most mediums they do like a good old gossip, so therefore I only ever tell them what I want others to know. Although this took place quite some time ago, it will hopefully show others just how much you are concerned won't it Kate.
I was in Widnes church and sue had just finished her service, and like most stood around gossiping to Carol, and yes I was eaves dropping, A ladies name was mentioned by Sue, a lady whom I knew well enough to call, which I did and the exaggerated version from Sue & Carol was swiftly cleared up. It was explained to me this lady had offered to help along with others, this lady made it very clear she did not want to be seen helping,nor her name mentioned, two other people also asked not to be named. There were people willing to give up their time, some where working may I add, this lady opened up her house even arranged meeting dates etc, after the first meeting this lady told me it became apparent no one was interested "Colin Sue and Alex" (other names have been withheld at request of those people)obviously Kate you couldn't attend with being in another country. I was told by this lady she had tried numerous times to arrange meeting dates etc, only to have to cancel, one excuse was Sue & Alex where away. they where home for two days then where away again, so home from Dubai for two days then flew back, this is what she was told, only to find out those days Sue & Alex where supposedly away, Sue was doing a service in a Church.
There where 3 other people who led busy lives, who were willing to come and help and give up their time, but Colin was very busy taking a walk in the country.
This lady then began to receive phone calls from people she didn't know, I was told she asked you numerous times Kate to please do not give out her number, and that to please have these people contact Colin or yourself, you Kate and Colin didn't want to know, she told me she felt as if she was being used and felt if everything went pear shaped she would be the one in the firing line. I do believe your emails Colin & Kate became very abusive telling her that poor poor colin was going through a bad divorce and couldn't help etc, yet you wanted other people two who have health problems to do all the running around, wanting to put these people in the firing line.
Carol and many others all know about this, as unfortunately Sue and Carol can not hold their own water.When this lady found out what was going on, her and the others stepped right back and wanted nothing more to do with it.
So Kate, I do hope you copy and paste this to your web site, to show everyone your intention for the truth to be out there regarding in saving the PTS is not what you project
I do agree with Joan try putting up the truth, and try to use that energy you put into constantly up-dating your web site to a more positive approach, you and Colin unfortunately had your chance, the physical effort was probably to much, better to sit behind a screen doesn't take that much physical energy.
What a pity if only Sue had kept her mouth shut, and if only Carol hadn't told others if only you and Colin hadn't tried to use others in your abusive manner, maybe it would have worked. Maybe if Colin had got off his backside and not tried to leave it to others to do all the dirty work hiding in the shadows.
So Kate tell the full truth and not half of it
