In terragen:
create a terrain. save your terrain.

In terranim (which you open from the menu in terragen):
open the saved terrain
the same elevation map will appear but in colour
click on the map to create pointst that the camera will pass through
the resulting curve is the camera path
click on the view height or something button
make sure the camera height is always above ground height
set the path of the output files
save the script

in terragen again.
with the same terrain open,
set other environmental conditions (clouds etc...)
go to execute script and open up the script you just created
bmp files will be created in the path specified
use bink to make it into a movie

done deal, hope that helps, it took me a while to figure out!
btw, you don't need to use scripter with it at all.... just to clear that up....
