I enjoy the games and the people I sit around b/c we try to talk to each other. That's been good. I don't see a lot of mingling esp with certain people in charge. There's a clique there.
And I'd love to go to meetings, but I have work and that's too important. So I like having this forum to discuss issues with others that we all find a big deal. Wasn't that the point of making it?
I never heard people, aside from a certain someone already named, complain about cheers being overdone. But the vistor to a section during that oh so amazing game Friday night started up a cheer I had never heard this year and I noticed she had her arms crossed and lips tightly shut while everyone else cheered on with this gentleman. I'm sorry if it's a direct attact, but as a fellow slapshotter, I don't understand why that would occur when we're all out here to cheer on the same team? It was a cheer about our team, why did she look so angry over it? I would honestly like to know. It seemed like a good cheer and it was new.
I am not sure about all that National Anthem talk, but I do know some people in our section were talking during it and that is extremely rude, no matter who it was. I don't care what it was about either. When the National Anthem is being sung we should all be quiet or sing along, NOT decide to chat or gossip or whatever!
