Directions to Lakeview Civitans Ballfield in Burlington, NC:
From I-40/85, take exit 143 in Burlington (Alamance Rd.) and follow NC-62 North for approx. 5-6 miles. Please note that NC-62 does make several turns along the way so please follow the signs carefully. Once you reach the outskirts of town, you'll go through a stopsign and then come to a stop light where you will make a left onto Union Ridge Rd. The ballfield is down on the left, right off of Roberta Dr.

"SPRING SHOWDOWN" TO HELP AREA YOUTH BASEBALL ON MAY11th IN BURLINGTON

The CWF/FWA-Carolinas returns to the Lakeview Civitans Ballfield in Burlington, NC on Saturday, May 11th for the second annual "Spring Showdown" in what is expected to be the largest crowd in CWF/FWA-Carolinas history! The event will once again be to help raise funds to make improvements at the ballfield. The Lakeview Civitans hosted two CWF events last year and this one looks to be the biggest one yet! Special Event Sponsor is Dave's Discount Furniture located at 2137 N. Church St. in Burlington. "Spring Showdown" is also sponsered in part by Darrell Allen Body Shop, Custom Screens Inc., and T& D Electrical Company of Burlington. Advance tickets are now on sale from area Civitans and online on the schedule page at www.cwfprowrestling.com.

Less than two weeks ago, CWF/FWA-Carolina's nearly blew the roof off of the Graham Recreation Center with "Final Judgment". What can Graham expect after that event? Another great night of action for the entire family to enjoy! Commissioner William L. Cross has put together what is arguably the most star-studded lineup in the history of CWF/FWA-Carolinas.

"Spring Showdown" will feature the return of NWA legends "The Pride of the USA" Don Kernodle and Rocky Kernodle as they take on the duo that's been called "the best unsigned tag team in the world": the Main Attraction - "Mr. Business" Scott Powers and "Mr. Pleasure" Chris Steele!

After the shocking events that went down at "Final Judgment", the Gemini Kid will be teaming with the Hirydaz of Mikael Yamaha and the FWA Women's World champion Amber Holly for the first time ever as they battle their mutual enemies: the newely formed Hostile Youth Project (HYP) combination of "Slick" Ric Converse, Corey Edsel, and GeeStar (with their managers Brad Stutts and Special K at ringside)! Can the Hirydaz co-exist with Gemini Kid after nearly ten years of brutal hatred between those two sides? It could certaintly be one of the wildest six-person bouts in recent memory!

The CWF/FWA-Carolinas Cruiserweight champion Sexton Tyler will defend his gold against "the Freak Show" Nemesis in what could well be the show stealing bout of the evening!

Also appearing will be former ECW superstar C.W. Anderson, Otto Schwanz, Cham Pain, Madd Maxx, the $outh$ide Playas, J.T. Sparxx, Ethan Cage, Rob "the Bull" McBride, "Iceman" Joe Storm, and many others!

Also making a special apperance at the show will be NWA legend and the "Master of the Weaverlock" himself; none other than Johnny Weaver! Come and witness wrestling's past, present, and future all come together on this very special night of family entertainment at CWF/FWA-Carolina's "Spring Showdown"!
