~*~*you swam for the light, as a few of the little fish-creatures chased after those trying to escape. you made it through long before they caught up to you, and noticed a few falling out behind you as you landed on scorched red earth. you took off in a dead sprint as a crows of Sentinels watched, none particularly inclined to stop you. they seemed happy to see you getting away, actually. the black gems around their necks all constricted, and in unison, they took off after you. the only ones who came close were the former elves, those with mechanical enhancements, and the leaner 4-legged creatures. you were rather surprised that you got this far. you spotted the dead tree, and charged toward it, and did as Psyke had said. you stood on the little flat stone lying there. you watched as the Sentinels got within arms length of you, and you closed your eyes. when nothing happened, you opened them. you found yourself..... elsewhere...*~*~
