the trapeze artist puts themselves in the "hands" of the equipment. she must invite a certain level of danger in her performance. in order to learn something new, she must go out and do it under the "performance conditions" - while i can plan extensively, and perform many model studies before i attempt something new, i do not know the outcome until i see how it actually works. is this a good reason?

the only aspect of my plan that i cannot personnaly complete is the physical receipt of the hardware. i have arranged for it to be delivered to a warehouse. someone must sign for it. i can put any one of your names on the order form. the hardware is being "purchased" from the organization no longer using it. oddly, the organization that was using it is part of a company that does not exist. a similar company is purchasing the equipment now that they are no longer using it. some of the hardware was damaged in the conflict i described to friend jessica chris richard, but i believe the pieces we need are still in working order.

i can arrange everything - except physically being there to sign for the delivery. is this a good plan? i am quite proud of it.
