oops, im sorry.... the gems glow when the forbidden spirits walk around in their earthly forms.... the royal blood line here has the ability to summon them into battle, and the gems kind of help.... i think this one is sky.... never mind that now...

akira said that she sent you here to meet with a powerfull mage..... a little about him.... he is an elf, from your world actually, that is a descendant of a great goddess. hence, he is one of, if not the most powerfull magical beings alive. he created the 7 oricals; life, death, shadow, light, sorrow, joy, and spirit. his magic would allow him to do nearly anything he wishes, and when he heard that we were in danger, he enlisted to help us battle. he has only recently been revived from his death on the silver moon, and so is regaining his lost power.
