I am trying to get some words of support from the Kennedy familty to help save the ELCO PT Boat Crane in Bayonne, NJ.

I am a trustee of the Bayonne Historical Society, and a group of us are trying to save the ELCO Boat Crane, which was used to launch the PT 109 and hundreds of other PT boats during World War II into the water. A nearby housing project wants to take down the crane to improve their view! Bayonne residents feel that it is a significant piece of American history and that it should remain intact and in place, or at the very least, if it must be relocated, to a suitable location in close proximity.

We would like to be able to get some words of support from the Kennedy family agreeing with the preservation of the crane since the boats it launched became a part of President Kennedy's life.

I don't know how to contact them, but I thought maybe through this board, we might get a message to them...
Any helpful suggestion in contacting them would be greatly appreciated.
