  - Re: Reid's mom. That's old news. If you competed in Aiken or have done so in the past couple of years, Reid always helps Michelle backstage. I saw no problem with this because I was of the impression Reid quit competing. She said so too many times to count.         Different night different judges. And I suppose true top contenders would only be listed as top 5 placers but only time and state will tell. However in this state, top 15 is good enough to be called a "top contender" and Courtney may not have won, but did get first runner up and like I said, this is a tough state and she has definitely worked her but off to deserve a placement of at least top 15 at state.         I've learned through the years not to count B Capps out. I first saw her compete as a teen at SC Teen MAO in 2002 or 2003 and she was top five. She has won every prelim I have attended where she competes and she was top five or ten at SC USA state in 2005 or 2006, her first year as Miss if I am not mistaken. I hear she is has a great interview and her onstage interviews are always well delievered. She also has the maturity under her belt. Best wishes B Capps. I did not want to come the on boards, but I thought it was extremely important to inform you guys of a predator. He's been adding pageant girls and he is a complete creep! His name is Adam Mullis. I deleted him off my friends after he sent me creepy facebook chat messages. He has requested me four times after that. I denied him a fourth time today and got a message from his WIFE stating to 'leave him alone and quit adding him'. I also received a message from him saying the same thing. Again, he has been harassing me, and now his wife is too. I have reported them both to facebook. So if he or his wife tries to add or contact you, you should report them to facebook, because there is obviously something wrong with this man. Do not add or speak to him.
Just a warning to fellow pageant girls.
I know most parents and girls read this so hopefully I can get the word out about this weirdo!

I've been seeing all of these posts bashing both Cy and Chelsea and they need to stop! It's getting out of hand. I love Cy and I know that he wants the best for his girls. I have never met Chelsea, but I am sure that she wants the best for her girls too! Let's just agree to disagree about who is the better coach and support all of our beautiful SC girls!

- Cy has been coaching for about 20 years and finally made it a full time profession. Since Chelsea was Miss USA in 2005, I see no comparison. Give Chelsea some years under her belt and she will have a gallery the size of Cy's or larger. Being Miss USA and being a coach are two different things. I think Chelsea, if asked, would agree. Teaching, regardless of the profession takes talent, patience, and years. I think it is exciting that Chelsea is now a pageant coach. She is not the first Miss USA to do so. Okay let me ask a QUESTION, I am not looking to bash anyone but is RPM productions (USA system) affiliated with only Chelsea Cooley and Jonathan Carter the reason I am asking is because someone told me that if you wanted to participate you would have to go to these people, if this is true I would like to know so I can make the right choices with the USA system. In SC Dazzless is definitely the store to shop, in NC I would definitely work with Jamie and Reign Fine Apparel, if in FLorida I love Regalia and La Casa Hermosa. These four stores have class and all of their sales staff treat everyone fantastic. Foxy Lady would be at the bottom of the barrel as they definitely pick and choose who they want to be nice to and funny thing but you never really know who has the money and is willing to spend the big bucks.     - I have met the director for north and south carolina and she was very nice. I really don't think she had anything to do with what went on. Have you ever wanted to compete in a pageant, but can't afford to pay the entry fees? Do you need scholarships or assistance paying pageant entry fees? Well, this is the pageant for you!

Due to the high demand from the Spirit of the South Cash Prize Pageant, the directors have decided to have two pageants per year. This pageant is to assist contestants who need assistance paying pageant entry fees. The Miss and Teen Division will receive a $1,000 cash prize and additional prizes. The runner-ups will receive a $250 cash prize and additional prizes. The cash prize may be used to pay entry fees to any pageant system or your educational endeavors.

There is NO APPLICATION FEE or CONTESTANT ENTRY FEE.

NO TALENT OR PRIVATE INTERVIEW
35% Swimsuit
35% Evening Gown
30% On-stage Question

Pageant Date: Saturday, March 13, 2010
Location: Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN
Time: 6pm CST

- Hey Guys, it is Cindy. Thank you for the compliments-I love you all as well. Based upon headshots, the Carolina's Team is Super, Super Strong. Thursday is registration, orientation and a luau. We will get to see all of the girls up close and in person-no photoshop then. I will try to post a few candid pictures of our girls on the website. For the record, if you place at state, you can attend nationals. Remember Margaret Ann was Palmetto's Perfect Teen and the Supermodel Winner prior to her national title.
