- Hill's parents started screaming at a woman who is a survivor of abuse after she lost, and her father was in this poor woman's face yelling at her about her "supposed" talking about Kaleigh which did not happen as far as I could tell.TLC will probably try to portray Dawkins as the mean girl since Kaleigh is the "star" of this show but for anyone that was at this pageant that in no way was the case. Kaleigh did not even have the courtesy to show up for one required event and did not even bother to come to rehearsals because she was to busy "taping" with TLC, however, Jordan attended every event and took time to get to know every solitary girl that was participating and deserved to win. It was very evident to every contestant that Kaleigh was positive she was winning and acted as if she already had and so were her parents, and I think so was the entire TLC and Gowns and Crowns crew. - Okay lets see. Charleston was first. Bishop won SS and absolutely deserved it. Kayla Childs won SS in teen and did dot deserve it. Shocked that C.Smith or Patterson didn't win swimsuit there. Childs was chubby. Next was Upstate. Vaughn won SS but Groome could have easily won it also. That was tough comp. Patterson won SS for teen. She was well deserving. Double crown. Ashley witt won SS and she was rocking in her SS. Calloway won it in miss. At the triple crown McCloud won SS. I didn't think she should have. And i believe Hudson won teen SS. - As a competitor of Chelsea's, I must say that is a joy to be around! She is one of my favorite pageant girls! Her honesty is refreshing and she is always very kind to me during the pageant. I just think that there are some really fresh new faces out there that want it as bad as the ones with a proven record. Sometimes the new girls win because they are fresh and not so scripted! That woman is extremely arrogant. Her daughter doesn't have the right look to win more competitions. It's really that simple. The swimsuit part of the contest is there for a reason, and if a girl doesn't look right in a swimsuit, she isn't going to win. She is NOT a total-package.
This is a beauty contest, people will comment on how a girl looks ALL-AROUND, so I don't know why we have to tip-toe around the obvious? If they are too sensitive to deal with criticisms about their looks/actions.... uhm, don't enter a pageant, lol. AND DON'T get featured on a NATIONAL TELEVISION SHOW either, lol.
Criticism and praise is a part of fame.
