McLeod will definitely get a crown. Her Mom is Michelle's best friend. Now, I am not saying she will not deserve a crown, depending on the shape she is in, she could very well win, but there will be a question mark over her win due to her Mom's extremely close relationship with Michelle. They even work together. I cannot understand why some people have an issue with TLC being there but not with the Director's best friend's daughter competing. And, I know Reid's Mom reads this Board so before you get angry....I just think Reid is being put in a bad position....she should have done another prelim and won instead of this one which is questionable. -- Unofficial Miss South Carolina USA Board

Re: Reid's mom. That's old news. If you competed in Aiken or have done so in the past couple of years, Reid always helps Michelle backstage. I saw no problem with this because I was of the impression Reid quit competing. She said so too many times to count. If she showed up in Columbia, a win was almost guaranteed, but......Reid is a great competitior.
