Other than Reid..I'm glad to see that Capps, Collard, Courtney and Hickman (the obvious top contenders) were proven by placement to be some of the best contestants we'll have at state. Well if you remember some of these girls have already been in pre-lims this year already and didn't win. So why do you think they are the top contenders for state? (NT) -- :), Sun, Aug 02 2009, 22:12:18

- Different night different judges. And I suppose true top contenders would only be listed as top 5 placers but only time and state will tell. However in this state, top 15 is good enough to be called a "top contender" and Courtney may not have won, but did get first runner up and like I said, this is a tough state and she has definitely worked her but off to deserve a placement of at least top 15 at state.
