She also has light blue eyes and a pleasent enough face. She wears wherryhide leggings and boots more often then gowns, and her hair is generally twisted into a bun at the base of her neck. Current place of residence: Hashe Weyr Job [& rank]: Candidate History/Personality: Cayen's father was killed two months after she was conceived in a shipping accident, which had left her mother heartbroken. She steadily grew ill, and when it came time for Cayen's birth, she didn't have the strength to follow through with the pregnency. In her struggle to get Cayen out, she died, and the birthing woman was forced to cut Cayen from the whom in order to save her life. After that, Cayen was delivered into the care of her elderly aunt (around fifty Turns at the time), and grew up with her cousins as brothers and sisters. Among the closest to her was her eleven Turn old cousin Lortie, who Impressed a small green dragonet at a Hatching at a nearby Weyr. She informed Cayen that though her dragon was young, she felt strongly that Cayen should go Impress a dragon of her own. And so Cayen made the trek to Hashe from her aunt's very small isolated Hold. Cayen is an all around nice person, perhaps a little reserved at times. She is also very set in whatever task she is given, and rarely leaves one unfinished, earning her a reputation of unswayable determination at the Hold. She is patient for the most part, although some things slip past her careful screening over her temper and she erupts a little more harshly then expected of her on the standers-by.
