Lucilla, I have heard that story, too, and it came from one of the present Raiders (not Paul - in fact, Paul told me that Mark quit). Either way, it doesn't really matter, as the bottom line is, both are happier on their own. While many of us long for two old friends to reconcile, the chances of that happening are slim. Look at John and Tom Fogerty. Randy Bachman and the other BTO guys (Rob Bachman openly disses Randy these days). The Davies brothers. The surviving Beach Boys. Rock 'n' roll is not a fun business. And even if they did get ack together, it can never be the same - even the Beatles, who were beyond criticism in most quarters, took a lot of hits from their "Threetles" reunion in 1995.
