::History::
Daughter of a Baron of England was betrothed to a lord in France. The last six months of the betrothal Katrina was sent to France to reside under the house of her future husband. By the last three months till the marriage, her betrothed performed some hideous act, which will be left as a mystery, exiled by his father to wander a life away from his home and lands, forever forbidden the title he was born too. Too keep from shaming Katrina and her family�s honor the d�Winter�s took her in, adopting her as their daughter. To the world she was married to her betrothed just for him to be taken from her in battle a few short months after their marriage. To keep her from shame, she has lived under the roof of the lord and lady, because of the shameful act commited by their only son and child; Katrina has thus been besotted on by the couple. As grief overwhelmed the fatale of being a widow before ever becoming a wife they granted her leave to travel as her heart wished, under pretense she was staying with a cousin joining the occasional court in her in-laws place as a dutiful daughter would.

a dark bay palfrey [a ladies riding horse] that is dainty of frame and fiery of nature, dubbed Callisto. A large silver and tan fleethound [Russian Wolfhound, common to the era] dubbed Lissar, the large hound was a betrothled present to the lass from her future husband before his disgrace. And last the beloved Peregrine falcon dubbed Mierin.
