The Beginning

The land of Epitome was engulfed in a shroud of mist, and with the mist came a listless air. The equines reigned in silence or at least, what was close to silence. The barely audible symphony of asperous nadirs raping the lithosphere-that ranged from verdant to barren-could be detected in the distance. Gradually the amplitude of the frequent canoodling evolved into a tumult, and the veil of darkness slowly dissipated; allowing morning to triumph over night. Rousing the etiolated ungulates night had possessed. Aureate shards of light breached the virescent canopy, allowing eldritch shadows to flit over the frames of the now moving quadrupeds; highlighting their contours. A dulcet cry filled the miasmas; it was the dawn of a new epoch, ready to be moulded by the inhabitants of the dimension-the epitomes of feral equines.
