I think it's totally misleading that there are two versions available, one is called the directors cut, but neither are fully uncut. As I understand it, sex scenes are present in the directors cut, but the explicit... uh, catapillar entering the cacoon shots have been taken out. I'm guessing the "regular" version doesn't have sex scenes at all. Don't know for sure.

I've also heard the german version is uncut. Lousy krouts.

As for Mezzo Forte, trust me. The directors cut isn't edited in any way.
