>If the balsa wood can be smoothed pretty good, can it have an edge? Like say i wanted to make Clouds buster sword from Final Fantasy 7, could i get a sharp "edge" on the side or would it get all grainy and crack?

Another question are there any skinny 12" bodies. The volks ones would be a little to skinny in this case, but are there any small build 12" figures with very little mucle buldging in the arms area. I thought about maybe giving a male torso 12" female arms. Think it would fit?

I've been playing around with the idea of making a 12" cloud [ http://www.ffonline.com/media/index.php?genre=ff7&img=ff7-1.jpg&type=artwork ]and i can't think of a good body type.
